There’s a new Mac trojan that’s been floating around, and it’s terrifying everyone. It’s written in an unknown language, doesn’t even need your password to compromise you, and now it’s apparently infected 600,000 users. Here’s how to use Terminal to check if you’re one of the unlucky many.
A U.S. fruit company, today, released a fancy new tablet that caused fanboigasms the world over. They call it the iPad, and its packed full of specs that Android has had for over a year, and features that Android has had since Froyo, but that didn’t stop the tech world from hailing it as the best new piece of tech since the last dated tablet from Apple. The new iPad, dubbed The New iPad, was unveiled by Tim Cook this afternoon.

The Air is awesome if you don’t need a CD/DVD Drive or an ethernet port, other than that it’s good, super thin. I’ve seen a lot of tests and it’s actually faster than the MacBook Pro due to the solid sate drive (even though the MBP has a faster CPU). Although you can always just get a MBP and put a SSD in there.

“Whatever your position is on patent infringement and the never-ending lawsuits in the mobile space, the fact is until the system is overhauled it is the law. I hate that design elements can be patented, instead of actual devices which makes more sense. Apple has been riding the patentability of design elements for a while, and has a number of Android device makers on the ropes as a result. A patent awarded today to Apple guarantees that every Android phone and tablet ever made infringes Apple’s design.”
“Apple Computer introduced a portable music player today and declared that the new gadget, called the iPod, was so much easier to use that it would broaden a nascent market in the way the Macintosh once helped make the personal computer accessible to a more general audience.”
